Each breath dispels a cloud

Fingers crossed, interlocked arms

Cracks form like freckles

On dappled, eager cheeks

With trembling legs and eager knees

Flushed in the breeze

Shouldering the weight

One hand lies in wait

To hold the world

And your folded, tapered waist
